So much to see and spans so much time and space. The sculptures alone are mind blowing.
It's a gem in an otherwise miserable city. If you are in Naples, then you owe it to yourself to go here and see the staggering artefacts from Pompeii. Beware the 'tour guides' at the door who appear to be from the museum but are just hawking for business. We went on a quiet December morning and at times we felt we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff in the cafe were actually friendly and helpful, and the food was good.
Beautiful place. Attached is a fascinating picture of the Via Foria and the museum as it wsa over 100 years ago in 1910.
There are no words for this museum. Just awe for all the wonders one can admire.

Really nice Manga exhibition.
The entrance was free of charge on the 1st of May 2022 (Labor day).
Gorgeous! Great collection. But the lack of AC makes it hard to enjoy. We paid to enter to have a break from the heat, but I was just as sweaty inside as outside.
So many artifacts allow more than one visist
